Meeting My First Comic Hero

Met my first comic hero Spirderman today at Forum mall....

With Two Superhero.. Spidey and Dad

Mysore

Finally daddy took me for the first outing of my life.... to Mysore. It took one full year for daddy to take risk of taking me out.

Our first stop was at Srirangapatnam, had good walk at Tipu's summer place.

All set to dip my feet in Cauvery river near Nimishambha temple

After long journey and Srirangapatnam, finally checked in (just to put on note, Daddy made mistake in booking hotel for wrong date. We were lucky enough to find a room...). Need to call room service for some massage.. hello !!

Dad was tired keeping me in control from running away all the places. So he decided to put me up on his shoulder. It was fun though, now I know, what to do to get this fun ride...

This is third temple in last 6 hours... Dad.. let's go to some fun place... please...

Finally got to see some interesting thing... Mysore Palace...

Taking break at Mysore Zoo...

Flowers and fountain time at Brindavan Garden...

Lastly.... something to chill off...

Had a real fun trip... If you are not interested in looking my pics but interested in looking Mysore... goto Google... :p

Cake Show 2012

This was 38th year of Cake Show at Bangalore. Sad part of the cake show.... cake show itself was smaller than the ancillary exhibition of useless items. Here are few click of Cakes....

My first birthday !!

I completed 1 year of my arrival and definitely it was real fun. Take a look at the pics below, how I started my day...

By any chance if you feel after looking at following pic, that I was sleepy as it would be 12 o'clock at night. You are mistaken. Dad fall asleep at night before 12 o'clock itself... so he waked me up at morning 6 am to cut the cake.

My B'day morning... 6 am

My small balloons and cake

Even Daadi was up at morning

With Mom... :)
Day has begun, so let's see how it goes overall. Big news is... Dad has taken leave from office today to celebrate my birthday.

Love,
Param

I can walk

So I have one new milestone registered. I can walk now. It's a sheer fun. Also with Daadi here, getting all sort of tasty food everyday.

Take a look at video which Mom took for Dad to see my first baby steps. I have also learnt to speak few words like Mummy, Daadi, Daada, Didi, Tata.... I know how to speak Papa but I would not utter it so easily. Dad makes me wait whole day to meet, so I would also make him wait to hear Papa... ;)

Don't forget to appreciate my efforts, instead of just saying congrats to my parents :p

Love,
Param

Time to twist the tongue

If you tell Tom to tell a tongue-twister his tongue will be twisted as tongue-twister twists tongues. So here's some exercise for your tongue...

If you understand, say "understand" . If you don't understand, say "don't understand" ... But if you understand and say "don't understand". How do I understand that you understand? Understand!

I wish to wish the wish you wish to wish, but if you wish the wish the witch wishes, I won't wish the wish you wish to wish.

Sounding by sound is a sound method of sounding sounds.

A sailor went to sea to see, what he could see. And all he could see was sea, sea, sea.

Purple Paper People, Purple Paper People, Purple Paper People

If two witches were watching two watches, which witch would watch which watch?

I thought a thought. But the thought I thought wasn't the thought I thought I thought. If the thought I thought I thought had been the thought I thought, I wouldn't have thought so much.

Once a fellow met a fellow In a field of beans. Said a fellow to a fellow, "If a fellow asks a fellow, Can a fellow tell a fellow What a fellow means?"

Mr Inside went over to see Mr Outside. Mr Inside stood outside and called to Mr Outside inside. Mr Outside answered Mr Inside from inside and Told Mr Inside to come inside. Mr Inside said "NO", and told Mr Outside to come outside. Mr Outside and Mr Inside argued from inside and outside about going outside or coming inside. Finally, Mr Outside coaxed Mr Inside to come inside, then both Mr Outside and Mr Inside went outside to the riverside.

SHE SELLS SEA SHELLS ON THE SEA SHORE , BUT THE SEA SHELLS THAT SHE SELLS, ON THE SEA SHORE ARE NOT THE REAL ONES

The owner of the inside inn was inside his inside inn with his inside outside his inside inn.

If one doctor doctors another doctor does the doctor who doctors the doctor doctor the doctor the way the doctor he is doctoring doctors? Or does the doctor doctor the way the doctor who doctors doctors? "When a doctor falls ill another doctor doctor's the doctor. Does the doctor doctoring the doctor doctor the doctor in his own way or does the doctor doctoring the doctor doctors the doctor in the doctor's way"

We surely shall see the sun shine shortly. Whether the weather be fine, Or whether the weather be not, Whether the weather be cold Or whether the weather be hot, We'll weather the weather Whatever the weather, Whether we like it or not. Watch? Whether the weather is hot. Whether the weather is cold. Whether the weather is either or not. It is whether we like it or not.

Nine nice night nurses nursing nicely.

A flea and a fly in a flue Said the fly "Oh what should we do" Said the flea" Let us fly Said the fly"Let us flee" So they flew through a flaw in the flue

Mr. See owned a saw.And Mr. Soar owned a seesaw. Now See's saw sawed Soar's seesaw Before Soar saw See, Which made Soar sore.Had Soar seen See's saw Before See sawed Soar's seesaw, See's saw would not have sawed Soar's seesaw. So See's saw sawed Soar's seesaw. But it was sad to see Soar so sore Just because See's saw sawed Soar's seesaw.....

Unhide all worksheets in one go

Often encountered workbook with multiple hidden worksheets?

If so, you would be knowing the pain of un-hiding each worksheet one after another. It's both time consuming and boring. I wonder, why Microsoft has not build in option to unhide all worksheet in one go.

No Option to Unhide multiple worksheets
So only solution is to resort to macro. Here's a quick macro to do that at once...

Sub Unhide_Sheets()
For i = 1 To Worksheets.Count
Worksheets(i).Visible = True
Next
End Sub

I am now 10 months old

As you already know the fun I had in first 7 months, compare to that last 3 months has been even more fun. I have acquired lot many more new skills now and empowered to trouble my mom even more.

I always used to wonder, why am I restricted in one place, I wanted more freedom... which finally I have achieved. Now I can crawl to any place I wish to... I have explored by now each and every corner of the house. But by far the best places are under the table and bed. I like bed more, as mom cannot pull me out quickly and I have all my time to enjoy.

Fun time under chair

I am so happy that dad bought the bed without under storage. Else I would have never enjoyed this

Ok Mom, you need to clean this place properly now

By the way, crawling is fun, but getting up by myself and having bigger view is even more. Particularly the window near balcony is best place.

Finally I see this world with different angle

Infact, I got something which I can beat and it makes some real big sound as well. Mom calls it a drum. Whatever it is.. it's good fun for sure.

Not getting the right beat
Daada and Daadi were also here for two weeks and they bought me real fancy dress. I was bored of all half and full pants my Mom always make me wear.

Daadi bought this dress from Gujarat
Check this one - Me with Daada and Daadi

Daada bought this for me from Iskcon Temple
looking forward for all the new things..

Love,
Param

Thindi Beedi... Bangalore's Food Street

After spending 6 years in Bangalore, finally today made it to the food street aka Thindi Beedi of Bangalore. Street stretches for about 200 meter approximately filled with shops/carts located on each side. Thankfully street is one way with enough traffic guards making a point that no vehicle stops in the middle of the street. Which makes this place comfortable to stroll through.

Few tips if you are visiting this place... more the people better it is. You will be able to try more dishes. Don't order too many plates... you will be able to try many more items. We started from VB Bakery to end it at the corn shops which is the other end. The food stalls opens at 6.30pm till stock last or 11.30pm.

Does it come to expectation of all the hype I have heard of?? I think yes. It has very typical Bangalore feeling. Don't compare it with food streets of Mumbai or Kolkata or any other place. Just enjoy it.

You have really good options of South Indian dishes with Indianised version of Chinese food. Apart from usual suspect of chaats, paw bhaji, kulfi et al.. I really liked the capsicum bhajji.

Positives of the Food Street.... It's veg only, clean, cheap... most of the vendors know what 'Jain' food means... which means my wife is happy. Making it a real plus point for me.

Overall, if you are tired of visiting same food options at different food courts of different malls every weekend... try out food street. Worth an experience.

Lane is Thindi Beedi, Near Sajjan Rao Circle, VV Puram. It's very close to Lalbagh West Gate. Go and enjoy one evening. Let me know, how you liked the place?

Here's the Google map for all smart phone junkies for their GPS feed.

First long ride

Did my first long ride on RR 5.0 cycle today, I guess I did almost about 25 kms in 1 hr 20 mins with one stop of 5 mins.

Things learnt -
  • Need to Google out and learn how to avoid stray dogs
  • Need to buy water cage and water bottle
Here's the route I did

Seems like need to do couple of more time the same route before taking longer route.

After 6 months of research and weighing between budget and value for money... finally landed with buying Btwin's leisure MTB bike RockRider 5.0. Infact this is my first ever MTB bike.

Michhami Dukkadam - ક્ષમાપના

'Michhami Dukkadam'!

For my non-Jain friends, who does not know the meaning of 'Michhami Dukkadam'.... This term is actually in a Prakrit language. It literally means 'may all the evil that has been done be fruitless'.

It's the day when we beg for forgiveness from inner of our hearts for whatever misdeeds or mis-behaviour whether knowingly or unknowingly occured by us to anyone through mind, thoughts, actions or speech during the past year.

KHAAMEMI SAVVE JEEVA
SAVVE JEEVA KHAMANTU ME
METTI ME SAVVE BHUYESU
VAIRAM MAJHAM NA KENAI

Meaning:

I forgive (from the bottom of my heart without any reservation) all living beings (who may have caused me any pain and suffering either in this life or previous lives), and I beg (again from the bottom of my heart without any reservation) for the forgiveness from all living beings (no matter how small or big to whom I may have caused pain and suffering in this life or previous lives, knowingly or unknowingly, mentally, verbally or physically, or if I have asked or encouraged someone else to carry out such activities). (Let all creatures know that) I have a friendship with everybody and I have no revenge (animosity or enmity) toward anybody.

Cat enjoying milk products

I always thought super markets are more clean and better place to buy from :(

I am not putting down the name of store, just giving them benefit of doubt -probably this being one off. But surely, I am not visiting this store ever in future.

Lalbagh Flower Show - August 2012

As part of Independence day celebration, like each year there was superb flower show at glass house of Lalbagh botanical garden. Could not make it on right day to avoid rush, but was not totally disappointed even visiting later.

I don't have much knowledge of flowers and today when we reached, most of the flowers were in process of being removal. So enjoy few shots of what's left...
